The Beginning - An Interrogation

So my thoughts are no one is going to read this post at the time it's posted, mainly because it's the first post. So in order to keep it interesting for people who might want to read back; here is a self-interrogation of my motivations for writing this blog and my past experience doing all this writing thingy stuff.

Who Are You and What Have You Done?

Well, I'm a British born male who grew up in Cheshire and now lives in South-West England. In 2008 I started my first blog which I wrote just about 140 (138) posts for over 3 years which has had a not so great 60,327 views to date. 

YouTube videos was something I did around 2010 for just over a year trying to entertain with words and other ideas but unfortunately I got impatient, didn't get successful quick enough and packed it in. 

I also started up a video and text content based website, sort of like College Humour but without being plastered in ads, with a friend at university in 2012. I even had editorial power over writers and YouTubers but unfortunately things didn't get done, people got angry and we stopped working on it.

Now it's October 2014 and I've decided it's time to start over and have another go at doing what I enjoy and see if anyone else cares.

Have You Ever Worked? You Mentioned University...

My first job was in logistics at the age of 10 where I delivered the news to people from my bike for cash in hand. I then moved on and worked as a glass collector, kitchen assistant, waiter and all sorts of fun roles at a function room. 

When I was 17 I worked in telemarketing for a year cold calling to help people claim back PPI and credit card charges. I spent 3 years at university learning how to become a programmer. After that I worked for a social media startup, that no longer exists, as a web developer in the sunny city of Madrid.

I now work for an IT service provider in business development assisting business in their IT strategy and selling them their equipment.

What Do You Intend to Write About?

Nothing specific...I like to try combining ideas from different areas so to give you an idea I've created a list of some of my vague interests separated out into vague topics:

Thanks for reading, there will be more to come...and as this is most likely not the first post you've read you will already know this so don't waste your time reading until the end of this long winded sentence trying to convey to you not to bother to keep on reading because there is literally no point and you will be wasting your time when you could be doing so many different things like reading something else, talking to a loved or nearby one or just closing your eyes and getting some microsleep because you will eventually have to stop because the words...Ha
